Cancellation Policy

1. How to Cancel

To cancel your booking, email us at admin@safarisrilanka.lk with your booking reference number. Cancellations are only valid once confirmed by our team in writing.

2. Full Refund (Free Cancellation)

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled tour start time are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid online. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

3. Partial Refund

Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled tour will receive a 50% refund of the amount paid. The remaining 50% will be retained as a late cancellation fee.

4. No Refund

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour, or in cases of no-show, are not eligible for a refund. The full amount paid will be forfeited.

5. Park Closures & Force Majeure

In the event of a national park closure, severe weather, or government-imposed restrictions beyond our control, we will offer a full reschedule at no cost or a full refund. This does not apply to closures caused by seasonal schedules known at the time of booking.

6. Rescheduling

We offer one complimentary reschedule per booking if notified at least 48 hours in advance, subject to availability. Additional reschedules may incur an administration fee.

7. Advance Deposit Bookings

For bookings made with a 10% advance deposit, the refund policy above applies to the deposit amount paid. The balance (payable on arrival) is not subject to this policy.
